A surveyed radio link delivering dedicated bandwidth between two locations without a carrier circuit. Used where fibre is unavailable, uneconomic, or too slow to provision.

- Licensed and licence-exempt bands, selected on interference, capacity and regulatory position
- Distances from a few hundred metres to tens of kilometres, subject to path
- Fresnel zone clearance and fade margin calculated per path rather than assumed
- Capacity specified to requirement; symmetric and dedicated, with no contention
- Mounting on gable, rooftop, mast or pole, with structural and wayleave considerations assessed
- Licence applications handled where the band requires them
- Deployable as a primary link or as a diverse failover path alongside a fixed circuit
- Handover includes path profile, alignment data, throughput results and monitoring configuration

Determined by line of sight, terrain and required capacity. The survey gives a definitive answer; nothing before it should be treated as one.
Do we need a licence?
Depends on band and location. We assess and apply where required.
